I admire you, for all the things you have cleaned out in the past couple of years. This seems like a doozy…seeing all the hard work and thoughtfulness you put into your classroom and your students. I get so emotional about things like this. Thank you for sharing 🥰
I feel you lady! I left electronic lesson plans for the teachers at my old school and a file cabinet full of physical artifacts. I tried to gift specific people special lessons, books, or objects that I felt might actually use it. It was so hard. Nothing says I'm done with that part of my life like ditching your old stuff.
The era of teaching pre TPT, Pinterest, etc. is a golden age of creativity and collaboration. The way you captured the feelings associated with throwing your creations away resonates heavily with me. Such a beautiful share.
I share your grief, as a retired teacher who has gone through similar purges. The binders were a physical reminder of all that went into planning and executing those units and courses of study. You took the courageous step of moving on and making space for new endeavors.
This is beautiful. I’m verklempt.

I did not know much about your teaching history. Thank you for sharing how you came to this place.
Beautiful Anna and so are all the chapters of your career. Feel the feels I always believe it means we deeply connected.
I’m glad you kept the Wind binder.
God I wish I could take all of your classes. They sound amazing. I hope you are gentle with your self and feel those feelings. ❤️🩹
